Freddie Gibbs’ Next Studio Album Is Announced

Following his first Top 200 charts appearance, care of 2014’s Pinata album with Madlib, Freddie Gibbs is back in the lab. Since the critically-acclaimed March album, a commercial benchmark for the Gary, Indiana native, Gibbs has released The Tonite Show, with producer The World’s Freshest.

Already, Gibbs released the first single, a remix to “Knicks” from a forthcoming EP spin-off from Pinata. However, the ESGN artist, who last week survived a Brooklyn, New York shooting, is back at it.

Empire Distribution, with whom Gibbs’ ESGN imprint is tied to, has announced that Lifestyles Of The Insane will be Freddie’s next solo album, planned for 2015. This will be the follow-up to ESGN, released in June, 2013, featuring Spice 1, Daz Dillinger, and Jay Rock.

With the momentum and success of Pinata, do you think Gibbs’ next solo LP will show progression?
