There was not a lot cracking in hip-hop today so here’s a little insight into the music that has been influencing the biggest star in hip-hop–Jay-Z. It’s not what you would expect.

Ambrosia for heads has been keeping tabs on the recent musical influences of hip-hop’s biggest stars.  Over the next few weeks, we will showcase what is moving those driving hip-hop music.  As with many cultural movements, those driving the culture often look to outside influences for their inspiration.  Hip-hop is no different.  Today, we look at some recent influences of the God MC, Jay-Hova.  Surprisingly, many of his key muses have been rock artists.  Check them out (free your mind…):
