Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

It’s fascinating to go back and look at the likes of DMX, Method Man, Redman, Ja Rule and Jay-Z in the earlier stages of their careers. Even more insightful is the look at Damon Dash, Jay-Z’s infamous partner in crime in building Roc-A-Fella Records. Some of his exchanges vividly depict the aggression with which he held down the Roc, but it was likely that same tenacity that ultimately drove a wedge between him and Jay-Z. Whatever the case may be, Backstage provides the type of access to some of rap’s legends that would never be granted today.
