Just Blaze is known but he does not often get his props as being 1 of the all time great producers. He is the subject of the latest installment of our Producer Series playlists. You’ll hear Joe Budden, Beanie Sigel, Cam’ron, Freeway, Kanye, Jay Electronica, The Game, Nas, Scarface, Saigon and of course lots of Jay-Z.

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

Just Blaze’s first producer credits were in 1999 but he really caught people’s attention in 2000 when he laced Jay-Z with his classic Streets is Talking track. A year later, Just Blaze and another promising young producer named Kanye West combined to produce 9 out of the 15 tracks on Jay-Z’s seminal Blueprint album. While Ye went on to become a megastar (and rightfully so), Just Blaze remained behind the scenes. His talents, however should not be relegated to the background. His impact on hip-hop over the last decade+ cannot be denied. The music speaks for itself.  Just press play, sit back and feel the fire.
