Stalley is one of my favorite MCs of the last 12 months. Aside from just being plain dope, he has 2 incredibly rare distinctions in today’s hip-hop landscape.

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

1. He does not curse, and 2. The vast majority of his music does not contain samples. No judgements against either cursing or sampling (some of the greatest to ever do it do both to the fullest) but it’s hard to find a credible rapper post 1987 who does this. Stalley just released a new song called Chevys and Ships. Check it out.  It features a Stevie Wonder sample that Terrace Martin, Kendrick Lamar and Cyhi Da Prynce also crushed recently.
