Kendrick Lamar’s Section 80 album is hands down one of the best of the year.

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

It’s a concept album about present day life for people born in the 80’s (the era of Reaganomics, the crack epidemic and the onset of AIDS). Fast-forward 20+ years and Kendrick Lamar tackles a number of issues from the profane to the profound. The music is incredible and the lyrics are clever, intelligent and introspective. If you have not bought this album yet, you can click here to scoop it.   It’s #2 on the Hip-Hop/Rap chart and #6 overall on iTunes.  Not bad for an indie underground artist…Here’s another song from the album.  Check out A.D.H.D.
