Chappelle Show gets its much deserved props for its place in sketch comedy history, but it does not get enough recognition for its role as a major platform for showcasing hip-hop and soul performances. In addition to having impeccable taste in acts, the show had a knack for presenting artists in unusual settings that made the performances stand out all the more.
