With the abundance of stories that shine a negative light on hip-hop (altercations, arrests, beef, lawsuits), it’s always a refreshing sight when a positive story about the culture glares through. With the release date of Big Sean’s Hall Of Fame quickly approaching (August 27 to be exact), the G.O.O.D. Music MC decided to give one his biggest fans a memory he’d be able to cherish forever: the opportunity to be the first fan on the planet to hear Hall Of Fame in its entirety. Even though Christian Ponsi was confined to a wheelchair during the listening session as a result of his spinal muscular atrophy, it didn’t stop the 18-year-old from spitting every single lyric from the already released singles “Fire” and “Beware” as Big Sean looked on with a smile on his face.

“I just wanted to give him that experience, and go to his house and play the album… I just wanted to make that moment happen and make his family proud, said Sean.

Mission accomplished, sir.
