We heard Timbaland around the release Magna Carta Holy Grail discuss this track. Justin Timberlake spoke with Angie Martinez and HOT 97 following his 2013 MTV Video Music Awards shakedown performance. Timberlake spoke about Timbaland, Nas and Jay Z deciding to impromptu record the song known as “Sinatra At The Sands” during overlapping Jungle City Studios sessions.

Justin reveals that Timbaland made the “easy-going” beat, he added the Sinatra-styled hook. He also says he hasn’t heard Jay Z or Nas’ verses yet.

Also, Justin talks about his love of Native Tongues albums, and Three 6 Mafia, and those “History Of Rap” sets he’s done with Jimmy Fallon and ?uestlove. He also talks about his work with Jay and Drake on his second installment of 20/20.
