Fans have been bothering (rightfully) DJ Premier and Nas about this planned album together since word broke in Scratch magazine back in the mid-2000s. In a recent interview with Phenom Bank, Primo confirmed that a collaboration between the two living legends was on the way, saying “I just saw him last week. It’s coming. He has another project to drop on Def Jam [Records], then he’s a free agent. Let him get that out. It’ll give me time to get my artists ripped and ready. Then we can all tour together or something.” If the album bares any resemblance to their previous work (“Life’s A Bitch,” “Nas Is Like,” “Represent,” etc.), it’s going to be one for the ages.
