It seems like one of the “Kings of Rock” has found a new area he’d like to conquer. This coming Saturday, October 12, 2013, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels will be signing autographs for Issue #0 of his very own comic book titled DMC. The signing will take place at this year’s New York Comic Con, which is located at the Javits Center.

The comic book will feature DMC as “a superhero, fighting in an alternate universe battling injustice on the hardcore streets of New York.” Copies of the first edition will only be available this Saturday (starting at 2:00 PM), which will also be available for signing by DMC. There will also be a panel discussing “Hip-Hop and comic book culture” on Sunday from 2:30-3:30 PM at the convention as well, which will feature DMC, Carlos Mare, and Ron Wimberly.
