Mac Miller – The Star Room (Video)

Intoxicated might be an ideal word to describe yourself after watching this one. From his album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, Mac Miller drops off the visuals for his latest track “The Star Room,” which depicts some of the troubles he has encountered recently in his celebrity status. In one line Mac spits, “Haven’t picked a major label, think I’m black-balled / I still don’t have the heart to pick the phone up when my dad calls.” With an eerie, spaced-out video to match the ominous lyrics, “The Star Room” seems like a place we all visit sometimes in our darkest hour. Mac’s artistic growth on his sophomore album is seemingly one of the most under-covered stories in Hip-Hop this year.
