There are times when artists swerve from their usual style and a train wreck ensues, however sometimes, it just works. The latest from Smif N Wessun is a prime example of the latter. Digressing from the sound of their previous releases, the Brooklyn MCs are releasing a new 6 song EP which will be a blend between reggae and hip-hop. The project will be titled Born And Raised, and is set to drop December 3rd on Duck Down Music. Here’s the video for their first single “Solid Ground”, featuring Junior Reid.
