Video director Jason Goldwatch worked with both Evidence and Alchemist separately at Decon, where both California natives dropped solo projects in recent years. Carrying that connection to Rhymesayers Entertainment, where as The Stepbrothers, the longtime homies and collaborators kept Jason in their arsenal for the captivating visual to “Step Masters.” The two men compete in a number of skill challenges, from egg-tosses to air-hockey to breath contests to pier fishing. It’s all good fun, with a lot of hat and sneaker wardrobe changes.

The song, as we’re hearing for the first time, slaps as well. Hard beats, scratches, and some supreme rapping from both men makes January 2014 an exciting release season before ’13 is over.
