2013 featured some incredible music. We got Kendrick Lamar going HAM on the entire industry, new tracks from heavyweights like Jay Z, Eminem, J. Cole, Kanye West and Drake, and gems from vets like Rakim, Redman, Erick Sermon, MC Lyte, Talib Kweli, Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, Masta Ace, Ma$e and more. It was also a great year for relative newcomers like Rapsody, Joey Bada$$, Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Action Bronson…The list goes on and on. Here’s a playlist to make you say “Whew! I forgot about that!” and “Ohh…how’d I miss that??” Mostly, it’s a recap of the year in music for the culture we all love. Enjoy and let us know what some of your favorite songs were this year.
