All fans of The Black Album know that December 4th means Shawn Carter’s birthday. Today, Jay Z celebrates 44 years on the planet, since being born in the P.L.A.N.E.T. Longtime friend and affiliate since the Big Daddy Kane days, DJ Mister Cee, honored H-O-V via HOT 97 airwaves with a birthday tribute.

As Cee is known for, the mix (also available for download) includes some rare delicacies, a lot of adjusted pitches, blending, and all the great options and audibles that make a DJ a great mixmaster. Pretty cool Juice Crew note too, Cee points/shouts out Masta Ace’s birthday too. A proud day for BK.
