This week in Brooklyn, OkayPlayer threw their annual Holiday Jam. Special guest Raekwon hit the stage with the full Roots crew, and DJ J. Period on the decks. Rae performed his Purple Tape joint “Incarcerated Scarfaces,” with Black Thought providing extensive support vocals. It’s cool how they riff on the song’s best moments at the end. Rae and Thought have been working together a few times lately, on Rae’s last studio LP, and on Statik Selektah’s album earlier this year.

The same year Raekwon dropped this single, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… single, The Illadelph Fifth dropped Do You Want More?!!!??!

Which do you listen to more these days?
