GGN TV has really got something. Presumably during the Grammy Awards weekend, Pharrell Williams stopped by to kick it with Snoop Dogg. The longtime friends and collaborators trade compliments on their timeless music, and devoted care for the craft. During the discussion, Snoop reveals that he’s never won a Grammy in 16 tries. Additionally, in recalling some older records, Snoop and Skateboard P break into beat-boxing and humming along to Funkadelic’s “Not Just Knee Deep.”

Snoop explains why “Happy” (which Pharrell is officially performing at the Oscar Awards) is so powerful to him, and Pharrell recalls making their “Drop It Like It’s Hot” collaboration in a studio filled with dozens upon dozens of Snoop’s Crip comrades, which P says, helped make the song what it became.

Two kings of cool kick it the hard way on GGN.
