Just two weeks after Miguel (with Wale) tackled the Elton John classic “Bennie & The Jets,” another British musical icon with decades of hits gets covered. Janelle Monae revisited David Bowie’s transcending 1977 hit “Heroes” for the upcoming Rio 2 film soundtrack.

While The Wallflowers and Oasis have both covered this Bowie hit (a #1 in the UK), Monae really reworks the song. How do you feel about her take on this inspirational, semi-apocalyptic jam?
