CyHi The Prynce Goes to South Africa For His Mandela Visuals (Video)

When Kanye West was named executive producer of CyHi The Prynce’s Black Hystori Project mixtape, Heads may have been confused. After all, the G.O.O.D. Music founder who inked CyHi some years back was not a track-by-track producer on the project, or a guest.

However, when it’s come time to make a visual for “Mandela,” it feels like the kind of companion piece some might expect from Kanye West more than Atlanta’s CyHi. Apparently shot on location in South Africa, the video ties in President Nelson Mandela’s influence, while CyHi spits personal bars about trying to be a leader, trapped between Good and Evil.

Is Black Hystori one of the leading candidates for Mixtape Of The Year, as 2014 approaches its middle?
