Bishop Nehru Is The Latest & One Of The More Unlikely MCs To Tackle Iggy Azalea’s Fancy (Audio)
There is Smif-N-Wessun with Mary J. Blige, Ol’ Dirty Bastard with Mariah Carey, so how about Bishop Nehru and Iggy Azalea? Although the Australian T.I. affiliate is not a singer as much as she is a rapper, the Island Records star has a Pop pocket, and has at least two current ladies-minded anthems.
Nehru, who is seemingly more from the school of “Niggy” (to quote KMD/MF DOOM’s 1994 slept-on joint) than Iggy, is the latest artist to make “Fancy” his own. The results? Quite interesting, as Nehru slides snugly into The Invisible Men/The Arcade beat, and seems to still let the song’s original host shine on the unofficial remix.
With this blatant departure from what Heads may be used to with Bishop Nehru, how do you feel about this surprise?
