Back in November of last year, Tech N9ne wrote “Fear,” a track he refers to as the most emotional of his career. Dedicated to his ailing mother who was battling a number of illnesses, Tech and his team completed shooting the music video to the track just days before he left for his 2014 Independent Grind Tour in April.

About three weeks ago on June 6, Tech’s mother, Maudie Sue Yates-Khalifah, passed away. In her honor, Tech releases the dark, yet heartfelt visuals letting fans know that this is “the most personal music video of my career and I never imagined what it would mean to me today.”

Rest In Peace
Maudie Sue Yates-Khalifah
