Even though the track liberally sampled Grandmaster Flash’s “The Message” (and subsequently Ice Cube’s remix of “Check Yo Self”), in 1997 there were few songs that got the party started like Puff Daddy’s “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” featuring Ma$e.
