Want Some Bugged Out Entertainment? Watch Deltron 3030 Go Record Shopping (Video)

Along with veteran Canadian turntablist Kid Koala, Del The Funky Homosapien and Dan The Automator complete the other-worldy trifecta known as Deltron 3030. The weirdest character concoction this side of Dr. Octagon (whom, Dan also helped “Frankenstein”), Deltron released their sophomore, highly-anticipated LP, Event II, less than one year ago.

The two Bay area factions of the trio, Del and Dan recently hit Amoeba Records together, for a “What’s In My Bag?” segment. While Del Tha Funkee (as it was formerly spelled) breaks down his affinities for Papoose, Marley Marl, and even Punk outfit Black Flag, a name-dropping-heavy D.T.A. hits the DVD rack to show how Step Up 2 helped inspired Event II. For sheer entertainment value alone, this is a worthy watch for Heads who know these guys for Deltron, as well as Hieroglyphics and Handsome Boy Modeling School…
