Back in June, AZ wove in some Brothers Johnson greatness in his latest ’70s derivation, “Red Magic.” A master of “nostalgic cool,” Tha Visualiza’s sample source added to his metaphoric mind-altering substance in the song. For the video, seemingly a partial homage to Limitless, the veteran of The Firm pops some red magic and hits his career with added clarity.

The following turn of events find the onetime EMI and Motown Records star at Barnes & Noble, behind the baby-grand, and in the lab, cooking up some magic of his own. Even if it’s not the most polished visual, Tha Visualiza sure knows how to be smooth and timeless, as he’s been for 20 years.
