Chuck D, a major supporter of Record Store Day, hit up the famed Amoeba Records in California. Public Enemy’s main vocalist and a member of the record-slaughtering Bomb Squad group, Mista Chuck admits that his trips to stores like Amoeba are more for books and DVDs these days.

However, the author in his own right picks up books by collaborator Mavis Staples, in addition to music-related DVDs such as an anthology of the music variety show, The Midnight Special, doc Mayor Of The Sunset Strip, and a documentary on the 1960s Folk music movement of Greenwich Village, in Lower Manhattan.
