Lupe Fiasco is back with some more message music. On “Next to It” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, he puts a little perspective on materialism. He flips both sides of the coin pointing out that no matter how much you have there’s always someone with more (a Benz is nothing when a Ferrari’s next to it) and, conversely, as bad as things may be, there’s always worse (the hood feels like heaven when the third world’s next to it). The message is punctuated by stereotypical depictions throughout the video, akin to the ones featured in his visuals for “B*tch Bad.” Check it out.
