Ab-Soul is the latest participant in the CWRN interview series, hosted by Elliott Wilson. Soulo showed himself to be a master storyteller as he touched on multiple topics ranging from the disease that severely damaged his eyesight to the roles each member of TDE plays in the collective to discussing the religious imagery behind his These Days album. Along the way, he layers in several interesting details such as how good kid, m.A.A.d. city actually predated the Kendrick Lamar EP in Kendrick Lamar’s mind but was nurtured until, how Jay Rock laid the foundation for TDE, why he reps his hometown of Carson so hard and much more.
