A lot of anticipation surrounds Joell Ortiz’ third solo album, House Slippers. On the revamped Penalty Records, the Brooklyn MC teamed with !llmind (Skyzoo, Boot Camp Clik, G.O.O.D Music) and Heatmakerz (Jim Jones, The Diplomats, AZ) for this LP.

With the three-year hiatus between albums, the Slaughterhouse MC changed his lifestyle, his health, and reportedly, his mindstate, all for the positive. A week before the album releases, Joell offers up the work for free stream, allowing fans who may be on the fence, or simply can’t sustain the wait, to get a first-hand, full look at just what he’s talkin’ about:

If you like what you hear, pre-order the LP.
