Time is Illmatic, the documentary about Nas, Illmatic and the Hip-Hop landscape of that era, opened up this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and hit select theaters last week. The film was a 10-year labor of love by filmmakers One-9 and Erik Parker. Here’s a gorgeously shot short about the making of the documentary. Check out the video.
