Chance The Rapper Surfs In With His First Album Single (Album)

Just over a month ago, details broke surrounding what is perceived to be Chance The Rapper’s first album, Surf. Although no release dates have been confirmed, the Chicago, Illinois MC has been actively working with his Social Experiment homies.

For the first look from Surf (according to The Fader), “Sunday Candy” builds extensively upon the Acid Rap sound, adding Vic Mensa’s close friend Donnie Trumpet to bring some Jazz to the complex melody. The upbeat record feels happier, and more upbeat than Heads may be used to from the thoughtful 2013 breakout. What’s even more interesting, is the Soundcloud to the record—along with its preliminary artwork is void of all C.T.R. branding/mention.
