In his thirties, Chicago, Illinois’ Vic Spencer is pushing through. For years before he released 2013’s The Rapping Bastard, Vic was getting prime exposure on albums by Kidz In The Hall’s Naledge, in addition to work with MC Tree and Sean Price.

After an appearance on A-Villa’s recently-released Carry On Tradition, Vic dropped “Jungle Gym,” featuring two New York City bullymouth MCs: the aforementioned Sean P, and Mobb Deep affiliate Illa Ghee. On the track, Vic drops self-deprecating hard-nosed verses, in between two low-brim displays from the vets.

If you dig this, stay tuned for the upcoming Cost Of Victory project it belongs to.
