B4.Da.$$ season is in full effect as Joey Bada$$ makes his rounds at all the major radio stations and talk shows. This time, Joey stopped by Sway In The Morning for an interview where he gave his perspective on some publicity thrown his way and broke down some lyrics from the new album.

The Pro Era Crew leader speaks on the recent publicity surrounding him after a picture was released of Malia Obama wearing a Pro Era shirt, as well as his recent trip to Australia. He also discusses working with Canadian singer Kiesza, Action Bronson and Elle Varner on the new album. At the 11:40 mark, he breaks down some lyrics from his song “Black Beetles,” the title of which was inspired by a Kanye West line. The song is filled with philosophical and spiritual thinking and has a depth far beyond what may be apparent on the surface. Check out the full interview below:
