“Only One,” Kanye West’s duet with Paul McCartney, was a surprising close to 2014. The song, a tribute to his daughter Nori (with wife Kim Kardashian), featured Kanye singing vulnerably, accompanied by nothing but McCartney on keys. The video, which was directed by Spike Jones, perfectly captures the sentiment of the song, simply depicting Kanye and Nori sharing a tender father/daughter moment.

Kanye premiered the video on The Ellen Degeneres Show, where he revealed that the song was actually him channeling his late mother, Donda West, and how she sees his relationship with Nori. Check out the video.
