Ghostface Killah & BADBADNOTGOOD Deliver Tone’s Rap and a Bundle of Goodness (Audio)

Ghostface Killah’s blatant disregard for convention has made him a true Hip-Hop original. Since his Enter To Wu-Tang flows, which stood apart from all others on the track, Dennis Coles proved he wasn’t the typical rapper. Playing with a hot hand, he blesses “Tone’s Rap” (as premiered at 2DopeBoyz) with that same refusal to conform.

Just some cold chitchat on the track, ‘Face gets especially cold in a diatribe against ex-lovers, soft rappers, and all the stylistic trimmings that make the Shaolin O.G. who he is. Although slower and lower than the first two albums, this catches Tony Starks in a light that helped make him an album-making legend.

BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah have been releasing some of the most soulful and inventive Hip-Hop in recent memory. In addition to their own songs, the collective has featured vocals from DOOM, Danny Brown, Elzhi and more. As they prepare for their album release next week, BBNG & Ghost have put together a bundle of goodness on BitTorrent that includes songs premiered thus far, liner notes for the album, rare behind the scenes photos, a download of the video for Ray Gun featuring DOOM and a version of “Tone’s Song” with vocals from Ghostface. You can download the entire bundle here.
