Murs just released a new single off his upcoming solo debut on Strange Music, Have A Nice Life, set to be released on May 19. The song, “No More Control”, features MNDR on the chorus and finds Murs giving his two cents on seizing control of your own destiny over three verses. He starts by rapping about his own life escaping the ghetto in the first verse, misguided motivations in the second, and really drives home his point in the third verse, spitting “we gotta start to take a look in the mirror, if we don’t respect ourselves then they always gonna fear us.” Check out the track below:

Murs had previously debuted on Strange Music with ¡MursDay!, a collaborative album with ¡Mayday! released in 2014. He is currently on the Special Effects Tour with label mates Tech N9ne & Krizz Kaliko.
