As he’s gone from a boy to a man, The Astronomical Kid has shortened his name to Astro and now Stro. No matter the moniker, since his seventh place finish on the first season of the U.S. version of X Factor, he has remained one of Hip-Hop’s most promising voices.

With MC heroes like The Notorious B.I.G., Stro is partial to the lyrically-driven styles pushed forward by artists like Biggie, Black Thought and Nas.
