Curren$y has a penchant for laid-back, soulful beats. Few can ride a track with the flexibility and ease of Spitta. Ski Beatz also has a taste for these dark and melodic sonic textures, which makes the two a formidable match.

As collaborators for more than five years, Curren$y and Ski have now put out three collaborative projects, as part of their Pilot Talk series. For “Sidewalk Show,” featured on the recently released Pilot Talk 3 album, The Jet Life MC and Ski turn up the BPMs a bit for a, relatively, uptempo jam. Despite the pep they inject, it’s still soulful. Check out the video.
