Curren$y’s Pilot Talk 3 First Class Section Includes Jadakiss, Cool & Dre Production (Audio)

Curren$y’s Pilot Talk 3 hit the skies this weekend, releasing yesterday (April 4). Spitta is selling the LP for $100 USB drives (with additional, more expensive packages available) for the moment—taking a page from Nipsey Hussle’s Crenshaw idea. CDs and other formats are said to follow, but for now, it’s a stick move.

“Pot Jar” opens the LP, which unlike the first two volumes, is not entirely produced by Ski Beatz. While Ski is deeply involved with the first of the series not on DD172, other producers including Harry Fraud and Cool & Dre step in for the Jet Life works. It is Miami’s aforementioned Cool & Dre that are responsible for “Pot Jar.” Signature Curren$y stream of consciousness drives the track as the New Orleans veteran explains where he finds his answers on a slow and soulful, sample-driven track. Jadakiss comes in to knock things around with his own hazy-eyed reflections on life as it is.
