Ever See This Cypher With Snoop, Kurupt, Daz, Nate Dogg and Dr. Dre? (Video)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

Ain’t nuthin’ like a gangsta party…Here’s a look back at an amazing studio moment from The Chronic era. Snoop Doggy Dogg, Kurupt and Daz conduct a crazy off the top cypher, with Dr. Dre holding down the melody on a piano and Nate Dogg in the background with the vocals. The Doc starts off with those familiar licks from the bass line of “Dre Day” and then shifts into the notes of Boogie Down Productions’ “The Bridge is Over.” In between killing verses, Daz holds it down on the human beat box.

Whether you’ve seen this before or not, it’s a stellar Hip-Hop moment worth revisiting again…and again. Check out the video.
