Ghostface Killah & Pharoahe Monch’s Latest Collabo Comes To Comic Book Life (Lyric Video)

Although they were running in very different circles in the early 1990s, Ghostface Killah and Pharoahe Monch have some amazing rapport over the last five or so years. The Staten Island and Queens, New York lyricists fill their deliveries with fervor, passion, and lots of unique wordplay.

From late 2014’s 36 Seasons, the most recent path-crossing, “Emergency Procedure,” gets animation—thanks to Tommy Boy Records. This follows “The Battlefield” (with AZ and Kool G Rap) from earlier this month.

Are these retro-styled comics the best way to present an album that’s clearly rooted in a narrative theme?
