The last several weeks have been all about Ludacris’ return to super-lyricism on his new album Ludaversal, which was released on March 31st. While quality new material is always welcomed, sometimes it’s good to re-visit the classics, and that’s just what he and The Roots did on a mind-blowing acoustic performance of Luda’s breakthrough single, “What’s Your Fantasy.”

Shot entirely on a Go-Pro camera, ‘Cris is accompanied by nothing more than an upright bass, acoustic guitar and Quest on the drums and piano simultaneously…and it sounds AMAZING. As Luda emphasized during his extended conversation with Sway earlier this week, his lyrical abilities were often lost on some amidst his bombastic production and over the top videos. This stripped down arrangement for “What’s Your Fantasy” highlights just how hard he spit on the song. Check out the video.
