Oddisee easily captures the viewers attention in his new video for his song, “CounterClockwise” which will be on his upcoming solo album, The Good Fight (May 5).

The cut is about “being there for people, and them going against you as a result, which leads to you becoming the bearer of their problems because they know you can handle it,” as the Washington, D.C. Native explained to Billboard with the video-premiere. The visual itself holds an enlightening and gripping effect on the viewer, where Director Zach Schamberg filmed Oddisee walking backwards throughout different boroughs of his new base, New York City.

Oddy’s strong lines and vocals mixed with the crisp production keep us moving forward in this time reversal piece.
