Diddy Says Can’t Nobody Hold Him Down. Tops Dr. Dre on Forbes Hip-Hop List (Video)

After it was widely-speculated that Dr. Dre had become Hip-Hop’s first billionaire, following Apple’s purchase of his Beats by Dre headphones line, it appears Diddy remains Hip-Hop’s wealthiest artist.

Forbes has released its 2015 Forbes 5: Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists list, along with a quick video detailing key revenue streams for each. While the order has changed a bit from last year, the names remain the same. Diddy, Dr. Dre, Jay Z, 50 Cent and Birdman comprise the top five.

According to Forbes, Dre’s massive $500 million dollar payout from Apple (after taxes) was still not enough to put him ahead of Diddy, whose holdings in TV, music, fashion and alcohol have created a diverse and lucrative revenue stream.

Here’s the full list and the quick video:

1. Diddy – $735 Million
2. Dr. Dre – $700 Million
3. Jay Z – $550 Million
4. 50 Cent – $155 Million
5. Birdman – $150 Million
