After releasing them over the course of the year, Brooklyn, New York-based J57 has culminated his series of official sample-free remixes into one conveniently packaged EP. The producer/MC re-designed four tracks, each with an original arrangement that includes a fresh beat and original vocals in the place of what were previously recorded voice drops. Though the primary versions of the songs are great in their own respect, the way the resilient Brown Bag AllStar adds a new spin on things encourages the listener to approach each tune from a different angle.
