Ambrosia For Heads’ Finding The GOAT series, the search for the Greatest Of All Time MC (as determined by you), began in September, 2014 and is soon down to its final 6 contestants.

At 4:59pm EST on Monday May 4, Round 5 polls will close, and Round 6 will kick off on Tuesday, May 5. Currently, several strong GOAT contenders are leaving the bracket, after a string of sizable victories. “Tha Teacha” KRS-One, often considered one of Rap’s greatest MCs, is falling to one of his star pupils, Nas. In just a five-year run, The Notorious B.I.G.’s impact on MC’ing is winning by a landslide against a friend/peer in Redman. Eminem has more than five times the votes of onetime label-mate Busta Rhymes. Tupac Shakur is posting big numbers against one of his inspired minds, Kendrick Lamar. And Rakim, fresh off a Round 4 bye, is back to bullying the ballots, this time against Mos Def (a/k/a Yasiin Bey).

Should these results hold, those 5 MCs will be joined by Big Daddy Kane, who received a bye in Round 5, thanks to his largest winning margin out of all the battles in Round 4. Are these standings and pending results representative of who should be in final contention for the GOAT title? Your vote says it all.

Here’s a video playlist celebrating Kendrick Lamar, Yasiin Bey, Busta Rhymes, Redman and KRS-One, those MCs making their exits tomorrow–unless your vote changes their fates.
