A$AP Rocky is fearless. As sales of his just released AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP album will soon show, he is currently one of the most successful rappers in the game. That said, he is unafraid to freestyle, “off the top,” say ANYTHING and have fun.

Rocky joined the Sway in the Morning show, recently, to promote his new LP and, as is customary, Sway asked him to drop a verse. As Sway consistently notes, including after Rocky’s freestlye, many MCs recoil from the challenge, fearful of stumbling or otherwise tarnishing their images. The MC named after Rakim, however, respects the craft but does not take himself too seriously. He laughed, smiled, stopped, started and, occasionally, had bursts of true spitting. Through it all, he touched on topics like orgies, playfully dissed 50 Cent and spoke about what the future holds for him and his crew.

This is by no means the most artful freestyle you will ever see, but you’ll be hard pressed to find an MC more unafraid.
