Back in 2009, two of the West Coast’s OGs teamed up for a collaborative album. DJ Quik and Kurupt’s BlaQKout featured both MCs on the mic and Quik holding it down on the boards with his patented G-Funk.

Here’s a look back at a behind the scenes moment of the two men during that era. After spitting some brief bars from the title track, they cut the music off and Kurupt keeps flowing. Quik, who is G’d up in a tux, quickly joins in, accompanying The Kingpin with some human beatboxing. It’s a pure Hip-Hop moment between two artists enjoying it for the sport. Check out the video.
