Skyzoo & Elzhi Fold Hands & Dissect a Beat Together (Audio)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

In the last five years (and truly, going back into the mid-2000s), Skyzoo and Elzhi are two of the most consistent do-it-yourself MCs. Brooklyn, New York—meets—Detroit, Michigan beyond Random Axe, as Sky’ and El’ freak “Hands Folded Together.”

The song features that linear, detailed imagery both rappers deliver regularly. The Music For My Friends (June 23) jam is catchy, intricate, and lyrical. What more could you ask for?

Look out for Skyzoo, alongside Common, Mobb Deep, and Freeway at next month’s Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.
