Glasses Malone Brings Together Killer Mike, Kendrick Lamar & Tupac on A Bone Thugs Track (Lyric Video)

In April, Glasses Malone released “Thuggin’,” with Kendrick Lamar. Rather than a celebration of criminality or misguided behavior, the song explored the themes of Tupac’s T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E. philosophy, an acronym which stood for “The Hate U Gave Little Infants F**ks Everybody.” Each MC took turns articulating the complexities of the men that have been produced by a society that was seemingly stacked against them from birth, all over an interpolation of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s “Foe Tha Love of $.” Tupac, himself, kicks off the song with some poignant words about his own upbringing.

Now, Malone adds Killer Mike to the mix, and, as expected, Mike injects some insightful words. Mike makes points about education failing young Black men and serving as a pipeline to prison, which he calls the new plantations. Malone provides a full lyric video so none of the words are lost.
